The Rivebank Zoo is home to over 3,000 animals. Recent additions to the zoo include exhibits for African elephants, gorillas and koalas. Riverbanks also has a large botanical garden with a trail system available.
Hours: The zoo is open daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are open 9 am to 5 pm except summer weekend when they are open until 6. Admission: Current admission prices are $9.75 (a) $ 8.50 (military) $8.25 (s) $ 7.25 (c 3-12). Children under 3 free. Admission is for both the zoo and gardens. Parking: There is plenty of parking and it is free.

Tyler spoke with the Babcock center about their mission in community service throughout Columbia.Today, Babcock Center offers great expectations and bright futures to over 800 citizens with lifelong disabilities. People with disabilities have the opportunity to advocate on their own behalf; to make choices about where to live, work and participate in leisure and other activities that contribute to their well-being. The Babcock center provides support and services to people with disablitlies. A non profit organization that focuses on helping people with disabilities become more independent and productive. They provide residential and day care as well as transportation.
