4-12-09 The MS Society

A representive from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National MS Society joined Tyler to talk about the special programs in the Midlands for the MS Society.  We also learned about the causes, cures (or lack there of), and living day to day with MS.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department DARE coordinator Deputy Arlene Sharp visited with Tyler, talking about the D.A.R.E. program.  She talked about the history of DARE, some of the stories she has collected in her 20 years with the program and more.

Joyce Wagster joined Tyler to chat about the first annual Good Deed Friday with the West Metro Chamber of Commerce.  The goal of Good Deed Friday is to inspire folks to part with the things that they don't need, and provide them to those who do.

Good Deed Friday collects everything from food, clothes, even paper products and dog food.
