3-22-09 Christy Anderson, YMCA


Christy Anderson and Elizabeth Lindsay from the YMCA came in to speak about all the programs that the Y is offering in the next few weeks.
Don't forget about the Healthy Kids Day on April 18th, offered at the Northwest, Lexington, and Downtown branches. This program is offered free to the community.

Susan and Jennifer Lucas from the Animal Protection League joined us on the program to talk about the services that the APL provides.
The APL is the areas only No Kill Shelter, operating in Hopkins. They rely on donations and the kindness of animal lovers everywhere.

3-1-09 Harvest Hope



Amy Lowery from Harvest Hope and Trey Hooey from Carolina Records joined Tyler to talk about the Harvest Hope food drive on March 7th 2009. The drive is at the Walmart on Highway 378 in Lexington 9am-2pm.

If you bring in food, Carolina Records will shred all of your personal documents. Folks are encouraged to bring in all old records, bank stubs, whatever you want to part with, and shred them, to cut down on the chance of ID Theft.
