4-26-09 Babcock


Tyler spoke with the Babcock center about their mission in community service throughout Columbia.Today, Babcock Center offers great expectations and bright futures to over 800 citizens with lifelong disabilities. People with disabilities have the opportunity to advocate on their own behalf; to make choices about where to live, work and participate in leisure and other activities that contribute to their well-being. The Babcock center provides support and services to people with disablitlies. A non profit organization that focuses on helping people with disabilities become more independent and productive. They provide residential and day care as well as transportation.

Tyler talked with the American Red Cross about the importance of giving blood. You have the power to make a difference in someone's life. All you have to do is make a contribution.Every donation helps provide services to those in need. There are various opportunities to get invovled and volunteers are always needed!
